R&R Oilfield Construction began as a small company serving the roustabout and construction needs of many small independents in the North Texas area.  As time went by, medium sized projects became our "bread and butter".  Approximately 2 years from our startup, we began to see that our real niche was the building of commercial saltwater disposals in the Barnett Shale area.  Referrals from satisfied customers began to promote new business for us, as the need for these SWD's became more and more urgent.  Our customers have been the greatest referral we could ever ask for!  We have seen an evolution in the complexity of our systems, as our own people and customers have worked together to build systems that are eco-friendly and provide the most "bang-for-the-buck".  This evolution has taken us to new technological methods of filtration, water handling, automation, etc.  Much of this technology was unknown and unused only 4-5 years ago.  The main premise for all of our systems is solids control.  We strive to keep "solids control" at the forefront of every system we build.  Most swd's are built relatively the same.  The point at which they usually differ is in the realm of solids control. 

One day soon, there will be no need for swd's.  As advances in membrane technology, UF, distillation, etc., come about; there will be a day in which the water treatment needs of the oil and gas market will become a new market for them.  These same companies that are making flowback, produced water, etc, will be able to filter and provide cleaner water than what is found naturally in our environment.  This industry will then be providing potable water that was not currently available.  This technology is available now, but is still not practical or cost-effective.  It will mean that the swd portion of "our" business will become obsolete.  We will have to change with our industry and focus on our other business units.  It is something that is inevitable and yet, we welcome it with open arms!  The world will be a better place and the "oil and gas industry" will be able to take responsibility for having helped bring this technology about.
